Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Trafny received his doctorate of veterinary medicine from Purdue University in 2007. He then did a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery internship at the prestigious The Animal Medical Center in New York City in 2008 and stayed on to do a specialty internship in cardiology in 2009. He received a research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in 2010 and stayed on to complete his residency there in 2013 to become board-certified in veterinary cardiology. As a cardiologist his areas of interests include: management of heart failure, congenital heart disease; interventional cardiology; echocardiography and advanced ECG interpretation. His personal interests include: basketball and spending time with his family and his two dogs, Popeye & Ida.
