Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kelly Meador is a native of North Carolina and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University in 2007. She worked with Cole Park Veterinary hospital prior to attending veterinary school as an assistant, where she says the staff and veterinarians played an important role in shaping her future and her principles as a doctor. When the opportunity arose for her to rejoin the practice in 2015, she jumped at the opportunity. Dr. Meador says knowing shes helped both her clients and patients drives her, and she feels satisfied in her position when she knows she is helping ease the pain of a pet who is suffering and provide comfort to a patients caregiver. Her daily goal is to give her clients and their pets the most up-to-date and best possible medical care. She is the mother to a two-and-a-half year old son, Gavin, and the proud pet-parent of two pigs, a cat, and two spirited dogs. Dr. Meador is overjoyed to have returned to Cole Park Veterinary Hospital in a new capacity and looks forward to meeting her new patients at their next visits!
