Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Anneliese Michl grew up in Deerfield, Illinois and currently lives in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. She received an undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago in 2010 and a DVM degree from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. During both undergraduate and veterinary school, Dr. Michl has worked as a veterinary technician at several animal hospitals, including: Wheeling Animal Hospital, Preiser Animal Hospital (Northbrook), Broadway Animal Hospital (Chicago) and Banfield Pet Hospital. She also completed an internship at Banfield Pet Hospital in Niles during veterinary school summer and winter holidays. Dr. Michl's special interests include preventive veterinary medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, geriatric care, surgery and dentistry. She has two rescue dogs at home a three-legged Labrador Retriever and a German Shepherd. In her spare time, Dr. Michl enjoys staying active outdoors with her dogs, running, playing soccer, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends. Growing up with five siblings, she understands the importance of family including pets. She looks forward to making lasting relationships with our clients and their furry family members.
