Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Crystal Bahr was born and raised in Texas. She attended Texas A&M University, obtaining a bachelor of science with highest honors in 2004 and a doctorate of veterinary medicine with high honors in 2008. After graduation, Dr. Bahr moved with her husband to south Florida and completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Veterinary Specialists of South Florida in Cooper City, FL. She worked in the emergency room and general practice at Coral Springs Animal Hospital (located in Coral Springs, FL) until joining the team at Lakeside Animal Hospital in August 2011. Dr. Bahr and her husband live in Plantation, Fl. They recently welcomed a baby boy to their family, and have two crazy beagles named Trixie and Paige. From the staff at the reception desk, to the techs performing various tests, culminating with our annual office visit with Dr. Bahr, our entire experience was, as usual, totally amazing. Our young adult cat, who had been spayed last year by Dr. Bahr, was once again treated like total royalty by everyone. Judging from our fur-babys notably content disposition during this years pilgrimage, it is clear that she was made to feel all the love from everyone she encountered at Lakeside! Their upbeat approach to all things animal is indeed palpable, and Dr. Bahr has consistently provided only the best of attention and medical care to each one of our animals
