Veterinarian Overview
I was born and raised on a farm in Ohio until I moved to Florida when I was 9 years old. Animals have always been a part of my life. As a child I had and took care of many kinds of animals from horses, cows and pigs, to birds, lizards, snakes and tortoises. Even then, I found satisfaction in helping them get better when they were sick and injured. After graduating from Seabreeze High School I enlisted in the US Navy. I was stationed aboard the USS Gettysburg for 4 ½ of the 6 years I was enlisted. My undergraduate degree was obtained at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio . I graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and then completed my clinical year of rotation at Washington State University. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine including preventative care, surgery, emergency medicine, diagnostics and ultrasound. I am interested in learning more about acupuncture. My girlfriend and I are currently renovating our home. We also enjoy Disney theme parks, running Disney races, exploring the outdoors, and the ocean. I recently started a saltwater aquarium and find this both relaxing and challenging. When were not out and about we love to be home with our 4 legged family which consists of 5 dogs and one cat.
