Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Bishop grew up in southern California where he developed a love for animals. After graduating High School, He began his studies at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT where he graduated with a Bachelors degrees in Zoology and Animal Science and a Masters degree in Parasitology. Also during this time, he worked 2 summers doing medical research at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Bishop began Veterinary Medicine at Ross University school of Veterinary Medicine, finishing his clinicals at Oklahoma State University. After graduation He began working at Broward Animal Hospital, Inc. and has been here for 23 years. He and his beautiful family enjoy Hollywood, Florida very much, both the community and the beaches. He has had a variety of pets and now has 2 dogs: Kelly, a golden retriever and Pugsly, a Chinese pug.
