Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jessica Dahlberg is a Southern California native and a Cal Poly San Luis Obispo alumnus. She earned her DVM and MS in veterinary biomechanics from Iowa State University. She then pursued a large animal surgery internship and residency at University of Pennsylvania. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in large animal surgery. She worked as an equine surgeon in New England and California before entering the field of small animal medicine in 2011. She worked as a small animal general practitioner in the San Luis Obispo County for three years. She spends all of her free time outside running, swimming, mountain biking, and stand-up paddling. She has recently become humbled by early morning crossfit. She is a devoted dog mom to her two 4 year old mutts, Jolene and Nisene.
