Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Borges earned her DVM in 1985 at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and earned her Master of Science degree at the London School of Tropical Medicine in Medical Parasitology in 1981. She has practiced around the Davis area since graduating and has co-owned Acorn Veterinary Clinic with Dr. Jackman since 1994. Dr. Borges grew up in the Davis area, going through the Davis school system, but also spent five years with her family living in Kenya while growing up. She and her husband have a son and daughter. Her pets include one dog, two cats, and one budgie. Hobbies include bicycling, kayaking, and plein aire painting in watercolor and oils
