Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Robert Fullington was born and raised in central California, where the closest "big city" was Bakersfield. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from UC Irvine. He had his first exposure to veterinary medicine as an undergraduate, cleaning cages at a local Irvine animal hospital and later helping to treat hyperthyroid cats with radioactive iodine in a nuclear medicine lab He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Fullington then moved to Philadelphia to complete a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon completion of his internship, Dr. Fullington fled the cold weather and returned to California. He lives with his husband and myriad of animals including dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, and a tortoise. His hobbies include crafty stuff, superhero nonsense, and fighting entropy around his house.
