Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Melinda Patterson attended the University of Arizona (Go Cats!) for her undergraduate degree. She is a 2006 graduate from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Becoming a veterinarian was a life-long dream for her and she grew up with multiple dogs, cats, reptiles and small mammals, which was the start of her love for animals. She has served on the Board of the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Patterson enjoys the preventive aspect of caring for an animal from the young years into a senior pet. She also enjoys soft tissue surgery and puppy training dilemmas.She and her husband share their home with 2 small humans, 1 dog (Labrador mix named Shelby), 3 cats (Mako, Piper and Jiggy), 4 chickens (Carrot, Fluffy, Diane and Susan) and 2 Sonoran Desert Tortoises (Tic and Toe).
