Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jay Dolan is originally from Richmond, Virginia. He earned his bachelors degree in neuroscience at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. In 2009, he traveled to Fort Collins, Colorado and obtained a masters degree in Biomedical Sciences from Colorado State University. He graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech in 2013 with a focus on mixed animal medicine.
Dr. Dolan currently resides in Blacksburg, Virginia with his wife, Emory, who is a veterinary student at VMRCVM, along with their dog, cat, and pair of crested geckos, which they hatched in veterinary school. In his spare time, Dr. Dolan is an avid golfer and also enjoys hunting and fly-fishing.
