Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Doree Katz was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree at Louisiana State University. After an internship at Angell Memorial Hospital in Boston, Dr. Katz moved to Burke, Virginia and began working at Old Town Veterinary Hospital as Dr. Schutt's first associate. Dr. Katz came to Belle Haven Animal Medical Centre upon its opening in 2000. Dr. Katz loves to spend her free time with her husband, Thom, son Connor, and beloved terrier mix named Bentley. She also has two cats, a Siamese named Anthony and a domestic shorthair named Flago.
