Veterinarian Overview
A former economics and public policy researcher, Dr. Wurster graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. He then returned to his native Wichita Falls to join Colonial Park Veterinary Hospital. He has practiced veterinary medicine full-time since and became a partner in 2005. Dr. Wurster and his wife, Michelle have a daughter, Kate, who occupies the majority of his time. His hobbies include riding his horses, training his bird dogs and playing tennis. Dr. Wurster is interested in reproductive medicine where he routinely performs breeding consultations and artificial insemination. He also enjoys internal medicine and emergency medicine.
