Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Sam Williams hails from the northern hill country town of Lampasas, Texas. Growing up and working on the family ranch helped to develop his interest in veterinary medicine. After pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees from Texas A&M University, Dr. Williams graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. After graduation Dr. Williams moved to Beeville, working as an associate for 6 years before opening Crossroads Veterinary Clinic with Dr. Mark Besancon in 2009. His special interests are in equine reproduction, dentistry, lameness, and general medicine and surgery. Dr. Williams is an active member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners and the American Veterinary Medical Association. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and traveling.
