Veterinarian Overview
Dr. William Martin opened South Gessner Pet Clinic in October of 1977. Although born in Houston, he was raised in Ft. Worth and Weatherford on the family homestead where he developed a passion for animal care. He graduated from R. L. Paschal Sr. High School in 1967.Dr. Martin holds two degrees from Texas A&M University - Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He is a member of the Harris County Veterinary Medical Association (HCVMA), Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA), American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), and American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). When not working at the clinic he likes playing golf, camping in our beautiful state, and attending Texas A&M football games.
