Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Maxey has been working with animals ever since her very first job as a veterinary assistant at 14 years old. She has a lifelong passion for animal science, and it shows through in every patient interaction. Dr. Maxey graduated from Ross University in 2014, after which she spent a year doing further clinical studies at Purdue. She loves diagnostics, and especially loves being able to solve problems and provide pet parents with answers. She also works in an emergency clinic a few weekends a month, and enjoys the fast pace and variety of patients she gets to work with. In her free time, Dr. Maxey enjoys horseback riding, baking, traveling, and hanging out with her husband and her young daughter.
