Veterinarian Overview
Kate is a 6th generation rancher from Roswell NM. Texas is her second home. She graduated from the Hockaday School in Dallas TX in 2008 as a boarding student. At that time she was introduced to the performance horse industry and started competing with her family in mounted shooting. Kate graduated Summa Cum Laude from Auburn University with a BS in Animal Sciences in 2012, and obtained her DVM from Colorado State University. Her primary interests are equine surgery, critical care, and lameness. She enjoys spending time with her family at the ranch, riding, and lounging with her Basset Hound Melba.
