Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Leslie Bauer earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia in 2002. She completed a small animal internship at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School prior to starting work at the Emergency Pet Clinic in 2003. In 2009, Dr. Bauer became certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) in Canine and Feline Medicine. She is also a certified veterinary acupuncturist from the Chi Institute in Florida. Emergency medicine has always been a passion for Dr. Bauer. She enjoys the variety and stimulation of not always knowing what will walk in the door brings next. She enjoys passing on that knowledge and experience to younger veterinarians through the Emergency Pet ClinicÂ’s internship program. Dr. Bauer is the current medical director of the Emergency Pet Clinic and is proud to help provide a positive working environment for other like-minded veterinarians who like to work nights, weekends and holidays. In her spare time, Dr. Bauer enjoys skiing, beer tasting, geocaching, and gardening. She shares her home with 2 dogs, 1 cat, and a husband
