Veterinarian Overview
Dr. D graduated from Texas A&M in 2003 with a degree in Animal Science and went on to graduate from the College of Veterinary Medicine there in 2009. She enjoys neurology, oncology, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. She has a special interest in geriatric medicine and hospice care for pets. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is getting to know so many different people and sharing a part in the special bond they have with their pets. She grew up in Henderson, a small town in east Texas but has called Austin home for the past seven years. Dr. D has been married to her husband Justin for 7 years and they have a baby girl name June. Completing her family is Ringo, her 12 year old Boston Terrier. She likes spending time outside with her family kayaking and fishing the Texas coast. She also loves cooking, flea markets, Mexican food, and cheering on the Aggies!
