Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Beyer's father is a cattle veterinarian, and it was natural for her to follow in his footsteps and become a vet as well. She pursued her bachelor's in Animal Science and then received an MBA and a DVM from Texas A&M. Her favorite thing about being a vet is "puppies and kittens!" although she also really enjoys educating and communicating with pet owners. She likes the wide variety of cases at the SAEC and the constant pace of the practice because she feels that a bit of stress makes her a better vet. She has three pets of her own: a cocker spaniel named Alli, a standard poodle named Ruby, and an evil black kitty named Stan.
