Veterinarian Overview
Dr Sarah McElroy has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was in elementary school. After graduating from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, she moved to Rhode Island for an internship at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists. After working in emergency medicine and relief work for a few years, she decided that night shifts were not for her. Dr. McElroy has worked full time at Greenwich Valley Veterinary Clinic since 2010, treating mostly dogs and cats, and the occasional pocket pet and exotic animal. In her free time she enjoys gardening, fishing, and hiking. She lives with two dogs, both rescue pets!
