Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kenneth Weiner, VMD graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia, in 2010. He completed his undergraduate work at Washington University in St. Louis in 2003 As an undergraduate, Dr. Weiner worked extensively in animal conservation, tracking genetic changes in isolated populations of collared lizards, rattlesnakes and three-toed box turtles in the Ozark mountains. After completing his bachelor's degree, Dr. Weiner worked as a full-time Philadelphia high school chemistry teacher, serving some of Philadelphia's most high-needs schools and later as a chemist for a major pharmaceutical company.In veterinary school, he continued his dedication to animal care and conservation with extensive externiships at the St. Louis Zoo and the USGS caring for endangered sea turtles.Currently he has a German Shepherd and a cat, and loves hiking and camping with his familyDr Weiner, will unfortunately no longer be seeing appointments as of April 2016, but will continue to do all complex oral surgeries needed, but on a more limited schedule.
