Our dog has never bitten anybody. He is eleven years old and groomed every month and has different vets every year and has never growled or bitten any of these professionals. He weighs 16 lbs. I was scolded by Dr Burke for exposing her to a potentially vicious dog that might bite her. He had an cyst and she shaved the area around the wound and returned to the room to give us an antibiotic and no instructions as to how to treat the bleeding wound.
She recommended teeth scaling treatment and removal of the cyst. He has a heart murmur and we have been told by other vets this is a concern if he was put under anesthesia. She ignored our anxiety about his safety actually made no comment to assure us or advise us why she believed it was not an issue.
