Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Rodgers is originally from Philadelphia, growing up in a house filled with a variety of pets including cats, dogs, pocket pets and a snake. In this environment, she developed a lifelong love for animals. A strong interest in science combined with the desire to care for animals led to her career in veterinary medicine. She earned her B.S. degree in agriculture from the University of Delaware in 1993 and her veterinary degree from The Ohio State University in 1997.She has moved with her family several times, and has practiced veterinary medicine in multiple states. Now back in Pennsylvania, she lives in Bethlehem. Here, she resides with her husband, 3 kids, a dog, 2 gerbils, a guinea pig, hermit crab, and numerous pond and indoor fish. She keeps busy with the kids' sports and activities, and volunteers at their schools. When she has an extra moment, she enjoys running, reading and watching sports. She is interested in general practice involving dogs, cats, and exotics. She continues to be excited by her choice in profession, especially in the lifetime of learning that it requires.
