Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Brent has a passion for exotic animals, he will be happy to see your reptiles, birds, fish, and even potbellied pigs in addition to your furkids. Dr. Brent grew up in N.W. Ohio between Cygnet and St. Mary's Ohio. He attended the University of Findlay for his undergraduate degrees. He then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the Caribbean Island of Kitts. He completed his clinical year at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington in 2005. He also took wild life medicine classes in South Africa and did his externships with the Detroit Zoo to gain experience with exotics. His love for exotics has come from his own history with these species as he bred Leopard Geckos and California King Snakes for a number of years. Dr. Brent is married to Dr. Adrienne Barchard, also a veterinarian, and has 2 children Ian and Joanna. He enjoys gardening, camping, photography, and bow hunting in his free time. He has also done several marathons and triathlons in recent years.
