Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Weisberger grew up in Akron, OH, earned her BS from Miami University in Oxford, OH and MS in Herpetology from Auburn University in Alabama. Dr. Weisberger then received her veterinary degree from Ohio State University in 1990. Dr. Weisberger began her internship with Miamitown Pet Hospital and Peachgrove Veterinary Hospital in Cincinnati, OH before coming to the Dayton Animal Hospital. She worked with Doctors Smith and Fergus at all of our satellite offices, Gettysburg Animal Clinic, North Main Animal Clinic and Clayton Animal Hospital. In 1995, Dr. Weisberger became a partner in the corporation. Dr. Weisberger is a member of the Humane Society Veterinary Advisory Board, Miami Valley Veterinary Medical Association, OVMA and th AVMA. Dr. Weisberger has 3 dogs, 1 cat and 3 horses at home and spends her free time bicycling, hiking and competing in three-day equestrian events.
