Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Bo has been in practice for 33 years after graduating from Centre College and Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine. He is licensed in 10 states, and has practiced in most of them. He has owned 8 practices in 4 states and was delighted to have the opportunity to purchase the storied Tennessee Avenue Animal Hospital when it became available in 2014. Dr. Bo loves to meet clients and treat pets of all kinds, including dogs, cats, ferrets, reptiles, and pocket pets. His veterinary interests include dentistry, surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology and internal medicine. Outside of the practice, he home brews beer, hikes, appreciates fine wine, travels, and enjoys his 1960 Chris Craft boat. He and his wife, Ann Porter, share a home with Marsalis the cat and Emmylou the dog.
