Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Gerald Martin Givan (Dr. G) grew up in Hollis Queens, New York with his three siblings. Ever since he was a child, he has had a passion for the well being of animals inspiring him to become a veterinarian. He attended Andrew Jackson High School and was accepted to Tuskegee University after graduation. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science in 1983 and continued on to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1988. Dr. G has been a veterinarian at Yonkers Animal Hospital for over 19 years. He resides in upstate New York with his wife and three children and is an avid golfer.
