Dr. Jay Margolis, originally from Queens and Hopewell Junction, NY, graduated from the University Of Tennessee College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. Dr. Jay Margolis, originally from Queens and Hopewell Junction, NY, graduated from the University Of Tennessee College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. He completed an internship in companion animal medicine and surgery at the Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Veterinary Physiology from Purdue University. He has practiced companion animal medicine and surgery in Pennsylvania, Virginia and New York. Dr. Margolis is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes mellitus. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 daughters and their dogs, Sophie and Connor. He enjoys SCUBA diving, golf and playing basketball. He also enjoys the keeping and maintaining of tropical and marine aquariums.
