Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Rachel Albert is a Cornell University graduate who joined the Mt. Kisco Veterinary Clinic team in July 2014. She has special interests in internal medicine and ophthalmology and is planning to become certified in acupuncture. Dr. Albert embarked on her career in veterinary medicine after working in finance on Wall Street. She realized her passion for animals when she volunteered to care for foals at an equine hospital. Dr. Albert loves working with the energetic group at MKVC where, like her, they love what they do and have fun doing it. She takes great pride in being an advocate for animals and values the importance of building long-term relationships with clients. Dr. Alberts family includes her husband Mark (who is also a veterinarian), her daughter Vivian, and their pets Mimsy (Tibetan Terrier), Chewy (Lab mix), and Griffin (cat). Her special secret talents include beatboxing and break dancing.
