Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Keisha Hawkins has been with us over 8 years now. After receiving a bachelors degree in Animal Science at The University of Illinois she went on to graduate from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine; St. Kits, West Indies. From there she completed her clinical year at the University of Missouri. Dr. Hawkins moved to Buffalo in January of 2008 shortly before she began working for Buffalo Small Animal Hospital and Kenmore Animal Hospital. She moved with her soon to be husband and their cat Aeronautica. They settled in happily, and shortly after becoming one of the team at Buffalo Small Animal Hospital, they even adopted a new furry member of the family. In September 2009 they adopted Tango, a kitten who was rescued by the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter and was being fostered by a co-worker. When shes not making sure your pets receive the best care possible, she enjoys cooking, spending time with friends, and caring for her fur-kids. When she can find the time she loves to travel.
