Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Wentworth comes to us after practicing emergency medicine in California. She earned her BS degree from SUNY Geneseo, and her DVM from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests are critical care, surgery and geriatric/hospice care. Adding to her diverse experiences working as a small animal clinician and surgeon, Dr. Wentworth has had experience in grief counseling. While not helping animals, Hillary enjoys hiking with her dogs Nina and Pug, while her cat, Polly Esther, stays home. Cooking, making pottery and horseback riding are other activities for her days away from the veterinary hospital. Dr. Wentworth is returning to New York to be closer to family and friends, and to pursue general veterinary practice, rather than urgent care. She hopes that her experience here will allow her to form longer relationships with her patients and clients. She tells us, I enjoy truly getting to know the families of my patients and maximizing their pets happiness and comfort at all stages of their lives. We are very excited to have Hillary on board!
