Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Hays is a 1980 graduate of Cornell University and has practiced Veterinary Medicine in the Mohawk Valley since that time. He has been a partner with Herkimer Veterinary Associates since 1990. Dr. Hays' college career began at Fredonia University with a major in Biology, then a stay in Virginia Tech where he gained Fisheries and Wildlife experience, then on to Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine. He resides in Herkimer with his wife and their pets "Jack" a Brittany Spaniel and "Turnip" their cat. In his spare time he enjoys white water kayaking, running, fishing, skiing and travel. His favorite moments are with family and the grandchildren.
