Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Dorothy Walker is one of our veterinarians here who graduated from the University of the Philippines in 1980. In 1984 she opened the Animal Clinic of Long Island City. She has spent time working with rescue organizations and shelters but feels she belongs in small animal practice. Her focus is mainly dogs and cats. Having been in practice for many years she states Our philosophy is to treat our clients and their pets with compassion and undivided attention. We feel everyone should receive first class service. Dr. Walker congratulates Dr. Spanbock for being the new owner of the clinic! She now resides in Long Island with her husband Joe, her daughter Carla, and her dogs Ginger & Foo!
