Veterinarian Overview
A graduate of the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Martin Zipkin, DVM, worked at Wantagh Animal Hospital and Dr. Terry's Animal Hospital prior to the opening of the Hewlett Animal Hospital in 1972. He runs a small animal and exotic's animal hospital in the same location and presides over the Hewlett Animal Hospital Luxury Pet Resort. Dr. Zipkin has extensive interest and knowledge of Zoonosis and has lectured to the Nassau County Pediatrician's Association, North Shore Hospital Infectious Medicine Group, and the L.I. Owners Handlers group. He has also presented to the Long Island Jewish and North Shore Hospital physicians, as well as to the Nassau Queens Dental Association. Dr. Zipkin has even made TV appearances on Animal Planet and on Long Island Cablevision TV.
