Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Michael Casler, our Chief of Staff, grew up in Fort Plain and currently resides in Niskayuna, NY. He received an undergraduate degree and earned a DVM degree from Cornell University. Dr. Casler joined the Guilderland Animal Hospital team in 1969. His special interests include oral, orthopedic, and veterinary laser surgery, along with oncology. Dr. Casler is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Society (AVMA), American Animal Hospital Association (including AAHA Council of 100), New York Veterinary Medical Society, Capital District Veterinary Medical Society, Veterinary Surgical Laser Society and the Executive Board of the Cornell Veterinary College Alumni Association (past President).
