Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Dhawan grew up in India and currently lives in Cherry Hill. She received a DVM degree from the College of Veterinary Sciences in Hisar, India, and did her clinical rotations there, as well as at Kansas State University. She practiced at a VCA animal hospital before joining our team in April 2016. Dr. Dhawan's special interests include dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and general veterinary medicine. She has a five-year-old Dogue Bordeaux mix named Taeya. When she is not working with animals, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and watching movies. Dr. Dhawan is also a proud mother of a daughter who is a college senior, and a son who is a high school junior. Her husband is a veterinarian as well, with experience working in emergency and critical care.
