Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Cynthia Willems graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2018. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Public Health from Rutgers University, New Brunswick in 2014. As a South Jersey native, she is excited to return to return to the Jersey shore. Dr. Willems has a special interest in public health, epidemiology, and emerging zoonotic disease. During her training, she spent her summers studying infectious disease in wildlife both in the tri-state area and abroad in Southeast Asia. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Willems loves traveling, reading, and going to the beach. She enjoys spending time with her husband Ritchie, and her dog and cat, Soco and Finn. She is excited to meet you and your furry family members!
