Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Caitlin Sun grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina before moving to Woodstown, New Jersey. Her love of animals grew with their familys cats, dogs, and horses. She worked as a technician at her local veterinary clinic through her undergraduate education. She received a Bachelor Degree in Animal Science from Cook College, Rutgers University where she graduated Cum Laude and as a part of the George H. Cook Honors Program. After graduation, Dr. Sun attended Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in West Lafayette, Indiana. She participated in various academic organizations while at Purdue and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. After graduating, Dr. Sun completed a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls, NJ. She has a special interest in feline medicine as well as surgery. At home, Dr. Sun enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, and her two cats, Pearl and Alice. Her favorite activities include travelling, horseback riding, reading, and cooking.
