Dr. Rebecca Aguilar grew up in Warren, NJ and stayed in New Jersey to complete her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at Rutgers University in 2014. She went on to earn her veterinary degree from The Ohio State University in 2018. During her time in veterinary school, she developed a special interest in Behavioral Medicine. She is a member of The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB) and the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP). In order to help her patients feel more comfortable during their visits and receive the best possible care, Dr. Aguilar is currently working towards her Fear Free Level 2 Certification and her Low Stress Handling® - Silver Certification. On her off time, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and spending time with her Labrador Retriever, Jedi.

Saw Dr. Aguilar at Nottingham Vet Hospital, in Hamilton, NJ for my dog, Bindi's, yearly physical. During Dr Aguilar's very thorough exam, she found a couple concerns that will require further study. The great thing is, they were caught by her, and it's very early. She is a very caring, and down to earth, Vet. I was very happy, as a pet daddy, that she was there.
