Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Elyse Cherry graduated with a bachelor's degree in animal science from Cornell University in 2004. After graduation, Dr. Cherry spent two years as an AmeriCorps volunteer before starting a career in veterinary medicine as a certified veterinary technician in the anesthesia department of Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston. She then went on to earn her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Tufts University in 2017. Dr. Cherry joined the Delaware Valley team after graduation where her professional interests include anesthesia and community medicine. A native of Cherry Hill, Dr. Cherry has returned to the area with her wife, Siberian Husky, two cats, and newborn son in 2017. When not practicing medicine, she enjoys being a first-time parent, experimenting in the kitchen, and competitive dragon boat racing.
