Veterinarian Overview
Since Dr. Jaclyn Kim obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in Seoul, South Korea in 1997, she has been building her career as a veterinarian having worked in Seouls largest veterinary hospital, attended clinical training at Cornell Veterinary Medical College in Ithaca, New York, and working in the New Jersey metropolitan area. Having more than 10 years experience working as a veterinarian, shes witnessed amazing, precious stories and miracles between pets and their family; and has shared in their joys and sorrows. The great love of pets and their family motivated Dr. Jaclyn Kim strongly to become a better veterinarian and to do her best to save pets and their families. Dr. Kim has a high interest in surgery and emergency, critical care, and attends various continuing education workshops. Dr Kim has also worked at San Francisco ASPCA, which was the first No Kill Movement leader of the ASPCA nationwide. During her time in San Francisco, she learned about animal welfare and shelter medicine, and helped educate the community with outreach programs. She hopes to have more opportunities to help more pets and serve her local community as a veterinarian in Fort Lee, Bergen County. She currently lives with her adorable, 13 year old white-silver Persian Nikko and 6 month old Schnauzer-Beagle mixed puppy Ninja. She is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association and New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association and Metropolitan New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association.
