Veterinarian Overview
Dr. John Parks, specialist in veterinary surgery, has been caring for pets at Englewood Veterinary Center since 2011. He attended Iowa State University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture in 1966. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Parks attended Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1970. Between 1970 and 1974, he completed an internship and a surgical residency at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston. A specialist in veterinary surgery, in 1979, Dr. Parks obtained Diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. A member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association, Dr. Parks has published a number of articles in the American Animal Hospital Association Journal. Dr. Parks is a surgery consultant at Englewood Veterinary Center.
