Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Mulry has been a practicing veterinarian for over 17 years. She built and opened Healing Paws Veterinary Care in 2012, fulfilling her life-long dream of owning her own animal hospital, ensuring she would be able to practice with the quality and compassion she has always believed in. Dr. Mulry received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware in 1996 and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University in 2000. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association (NJVMA), the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM). Her strongest interests are in behavior, pain management and anesthesia. Dr Mulry has always supported the effort to end the pet overpopulation problem. She serves as an advisor to rescues, and is always involved in the rescue effort to help end animal suffering. She has a particular soft spot for Pit bull dogs, and takes a strong stance against Breed Specific Legislation (BSL). Dr. Mulry lives with her wonderful and supportive husband, Troy, their two Pit bulls (Brynn and Betty), and their Boxer (Norman). She spends her free time doing yoga, reading, cooking, and walking with her dogs.
