Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Thompson is a native to the Northern New Jersey area. She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2013 with her B.S. in biology and chemistry and then headed to Kansas State Universitys College of Veterinary Medicine. Although she loved her time spent in the midwest, Dr. Thompson decided to move back to NJ following her graduation in May 2017. During her first year at Valley Animal Hospital, she has completed a three-day continuing education program at The Animal Dental Training Center in order to hone her skills. Dr. Thompson is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association as well as the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association.Dr. Thompson lives in the Weehawken area with her boyfriend, Mark, and their Kansas cat, Sorlie. When she is not working, you can expect to find her outdoors or traveling the world.I am so thankful to all of the wonderful people and animals I have met who continuously make this career so fulfilling. I look forward to many more years!
