Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Walker is a native of New Jersey and is thrilled to join the team at Butler Veterinary Hospital. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Quinnipiac University and received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from western University of Heath Sciences, in Pomona, CA. Dr. Walker has always loved animals and began her involvement in the field as a veterinary/research technician studying tick born and autoimmune diseases at both Harvard and Yale University. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has special interest in preventative medicine, internal medicine, radiology and dentistry. As a veterinarian, her goal is to treat every single client and patient with the same care and compassion she would treat her own pets.
Along with her husband, Dr. Walker enjoys all aspects of the outdoors including skiing, hiking, running or chasing after her three beautiful children Dylan, Brielle, and Kellan as well her mixed breed dog, Kodiak. She is a member of the NJVMA, AVMA, as well as an Accredited Veterinarian of the USDA APHIS ( Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services).
