Veterinarian Overview
Dr.Randy Schawang was raised on a farm east of Falls City, NE. He went to Benedictine College in Atchison, KS for 3½ years and then went to Kansas State University for 4½ years, earning his DVM in 1987. He practiced in Wisconsin for three years, then moved to David City in 1990 and purchased the clinic in 1994. Dr. Schawang and his wife Mindy have 4 children. Jenna is a nurse at the med Center in Omaha. Joe is attending Kansas State University and is studying engineering. Dawson and Hayden both attend Aquinas Middle School. Dr. Schawang enjoys all aspects of a rural mixed practice, especially obstetrics and surgery. He also enjoys mentoring young people aspiring to become veterinarians.
