Veterinarian Overview
Leon grew up in Winston-Salem, NC and attended Reynolds High School where he was on the Reynolds Wrestling team. He was very active in Boy Scouts and received his Eagle Scout in 1982. Leon worked on Greenbrook Dairy Farm in his early years and this experience motivated him to pursue veterinary medicine as a career. After high school, Dr. Robbins attended North Carolina State University, and graduated from the NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. After graduation, Leon worked for Yadkin Veterinary Hospital until 1994 when he moved to Grandview Animal Hospital in Pfafftown, NC. After 13 years in a leased building, he decided to build his own facility to provide a new and improved atmosphere for his patients and clients. Leons hobbies include fishing and woodworking. In fact, he designed and built the clinic's reception desk. Leon remains active within the community and is a Sunday school teacher at Deep Creek Friends Meeting. Leon and his wife, Janet, reside in Yadkinville, NC.
