Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Hicks is a born-and-raised native of Hatteras Village, and completed her medical degree at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She brings a delightful and loving touch to family pet care with her gentle manner, soothing voice, and calming spirit. Her professional interests include surgery, emergency medicine, exotic animals, and dermatology. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association. Still residing in Hatteras Village, Dr. Hicks and her husband share their home with a rescued kitty named Calypso, and Carter, a 4-1/2 foot Ball Python. When not at work, she enjoys fishing, surfing, photography, ansd participating in her church with her husband.
