Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Nelms, a Tupelo native, has been with Dilworth Small Animal Hospital since 2004. She graduated from Tupelo High School, received her Bachelor of Science from Tulane University, and matriculated from Mississippi State Universitys College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Her professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dermatology. She is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association. Dr. Nelms , her husband Rick and son Landon share their home with Boo Boo the wonder cat and Charlie the gregarious boxer.
